Library and Naval Science Guest Lecturer, Dr. David Ulbrich

welcome Dr. David Ulbrich

Author and historian, Dr. David Ulbrich is an Assistant professor of history at Rogers State University in Claremore Oklahoma.  He is a prolific writer and lecturer on American military history.  He has taught  several courses relating to the Vietnam War, World War I, the Pacific war, to name a few.
Dr. Ulbrich is the recipient of many awards for his work.  His most recent is the 2012 General Wallace M. Greene Book Award for outstanding non-fiction on Marine Corps history.
He will be lecturing on his book, Preparing for Victory: Thomas Holcomb and the Making of the Modern Marine Corps, 1936-1943.  Please join us on October 29, 2015 as Dr. Ulbrich shares his insight into Commandant Holcomb’s role in the expansion of the U.S. Marine Corps.
